Okay. Got it!! Today's favorite song is "Fall to Pieces" by Velvet Revolver.

MUSIC:

LYRICS:
It's been a long year
Since you've been gone
I've been alone here
I've grown old
I fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling

Every time I'm falling down
All alone I fall to pieces
I keep a journal of memories
I'm feeling lonely, I can't breathe
I fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling

All the years I've tried
With more to go
Will the memories die
I'm waiting
Will I find you
Can I find you
We're falling down
I'm falling

Every time I’m falling down
All alone I fall to pieces
Every time I’m falling down
All alone I fall to pieces
Every time I’m falling down
All alone I fall to pieces
Every time I’m falling down
All alone I fall to pieces

Now, I feel like I need a disclaimer: This song does not reflect anything I am currently going through. It came out at a time I needed to hear it. It helped me to deal with some things I was going through, and purge the negativity - removal of people from my life who, when mixed with me, made a very toxic combination. Fortunately I am in a FAR better place, mentally, emotionally, personally.

That said, it is a song I like, especially since V.R. has proven that it was SLASH that made GnR... not Axl. Purists will disagree, but I stick to my decision. I was going to put the uber-powerful original version, but I decided to go with acoustic. Why? Because I'm weird like that. I ADORE acoustic, and if an artist can pull off acoustic, they get on my list.
